Statement of Faith – Wheels on Fire for Christ

God created the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

1. God created Adam and Eve, and they were the beginning of the human race. (Genesis 1:26-28)

2. Believes in the Virgin Birth, life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

3. Believes that the only way to heaven is through salvation through Jesus Christ. (John 14:6)

4. Believes that the Bible is the true word of God and that the Bible is God breathed and God-inspired. (2 Timothy 3:16)

5. Believes in the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). (Matthew 28:19)

6. Believes in baptism and also believes that you can be saved without being baptized, but encourages baptism after receiving Christ as an outward profession of faith. (Matthew 3:13-15)

7. Believes marriage should be between a man and a woman. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Deuteronomy 22:5, Deuteronomy 23:17, 1 Kings 14:24, 1 Kings 15:12, 1 Kings 22:46, 2 Kings 23:7, and Job 1)

8. Believes that worship should be made accessible in all areas including architectural, musical, recreational, and instructional. All efforts should be made within the church to make worship and all church functions accessible to all believers and non-believers in mind, body, and soul (Mark 2:1-5 and Luke 5:17-20).

9. Believes God does not give disabilities, nor do disabilities occur because of the person’s sin. Neither do disabilities occur because of the parental sin. When disabilities occur, He will use them to His glory if the disabled person allows himself or herself to be used of God. (John 9:1-5 and 2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
